This website has been featured in an article published by the Texas Association of Counties, with profiles of me and other Texas courthouse nutcases.
Otherwise, this page is dedicated to newspaper articles about county courthouses. The first article I'm posting here comes courtesy of the Washington Post. My sister-in-law mailed it to me, thinking it strange that someone shares my hobby. It is a first-person account of one man's quest to photograph all 3000 county courthouses in the entire country! He's still about 2,500 courthouses short of his goal. I wish him luck! The next article comes from the Dallas Morning News. Texas author A. C. Greene writes about what has happened to abandoned Texas courthouses. I will post other articles on-line as I come across them. |
